Less well visited than its neighbours, Thailand and Vietnam, Cambodia is
full of hidden gems and does make a stunning location for a wedding abroad.
Obviously the major tourist attraction in the country is the incredible
Angkor Wat, a city which stretches over a huge distance and takes several
days to explore properly. Locals quite often have their wedding photos
taken outside the major temples, and you could do the same, just be
prepared for some spectators from the many tourists there! Getting up to
see the dawn rise over the main temple is a breathtaking experience – but
perhaps don't do that on your wedding day (although if you stay at the
temples and don't go back to your hotel for breakfast you do have the place
to yourself for an hour or so).

In contrast, the Cambodian coast is much less busy
than the famous attractions to the north, and it's possible to find a
quiet beach here looking out over the Bay of Thailand where you could have
a wedding ceremony. Many beaches have bars and restaurants along them so
your wedding breakfast could be pepper crab eaten on the beach with a cold
