Koh Samui in Thailand was the most amazing setting for our beach wedding. We are Australian and live in the UK, so we chose Thailand as it is half way. Dress code was ‘Summer with bare feet’. Orchids and roses were in abundance and the full moon lit up the tables at dinner. The service in Thailand is world class and the Thais are the friendliest people I have ever met. The white sandy beach, hot sunny weather and luxurious resorts make it the perfect holiday for everyone. I have had such an amazing response from our photos that I have set up my own company called ‘Take Us To Thailand’ organising Weddings and Corporate Events in Thailand, you can find us on the Marry Abroad Thailand page.

We got married at sunset on the Big Island of Hawaii in a beautiful garden overlooking a sacred pool. On the other side of the pool the palm fringed beach made a perfect background to the sunset, which is stunning every night in Hawaii. If you want perfect weather and a beautiful setting for your special day, we would recommend Hawaii!

We decided to get married at the Kings Knoll, Waikola on the Big Island, Hawaii, following glowing endorsements from family who had also taken the plunge abroad. The day itself was perfect. The setting was breathtaking, a tastefully landscaped sacred area that was a stones throw from the beach and the Pacific Ocean. Nothing was too much trouble for the local wedding planner and the hotel in the build-up to the big day. The wedding itself was conducted in the early evening and capped off with a stunning sunset in the background that created that special moment for the camera. A day we will never forget.
